Nissan SR20
The SR20 is Nissan's 2.0-litre four, square at 86 × 86 mm, and the preset's 10:1 compression puts it in naturally-aspirated trim. The square layout is the same geometric idea as the 2JZ scaled down: moderate piston speed at high rpm, and a bore wide enough to fit useful valve area. That combination is why the SR20 responds so predictably to head work and cam timing — the breathing is the limit long before the bottom end is. Loading the preset gives you the thermodynamic cycle, the P-V diagram, indicated and effective power, and the forces the rod and crank carry through the cycle.

Notes for modelling
- To model the turbocharged variant, drop the compression ratio toward 8.5:1 and raise intake pressure above atmospheric.
- Valve lift and seat diameters are in the preset — they set the port flow areas the gas-exchange model uses.
- Results are per cylinder; multiply by four for the whole engine.
