Suzuki RG500
The RG500 Gamma is Suzuki's square-four two-stroke, a road bike derived directly from the engine that won grand-prix championships. Its 56 mm bore and 50.6 mm stroke are aggressively oversquare — the short stroke is what lets a two-stroke rev to the figures this engine does without destroying the piston. The preset carries 7:1 geometric compression and high-rpm port timing. Because a two-stroke fires every revolution, the relationship between port timing, pipe length and rpm is tight: change one and the others must follow. The calculator makes that dependency explicit instead of leaving it to trial and error.

Notes for modelling
- Short stroke keeps piston speed manageable at the rpm this engine runs — compare mean piston speed against the RD350 preset.
- Port width matters as much as height: too wide and the ring catches, which is a mechanical limit the model does not enforce for you.
