Kawasaki H2 750 Mach IV
The H2 750 Mach IV is Kawasaki's air-cooled two-stroke triple, an engine whose reputation rests entirely on a powerband that arrives all at once. That behaviour is not folklore — it is what a large-bore two-stroke with high exhaust-port timing and a short tuned pipe does, and it is visible in a simulation. At 71 mm bore by 63 mm stroke with 6.5:1 geometric compression, the preset gives you the port areas against crank angle and the resulting cycle. If you want to understand why the powerband is where it is, rather than just riding around it, this is the engine to model.

Notes for modelling
- Lowering exhaust-port timing widens the powerband and lowers peak power — the classic street-versus-strip trade, and quantifiable here.
