Toyota 2JZ-GTE
The 2JZ-GTE is the 3.0-litre twin-turbo straight-six from the A80 Supra, and its reputation for surviving enormous boost is a direct consequence of its geometry. The bore and stroke are both 86 mm — a perfectly square engine — and the 8.5:1 compression ratio is the classic factory-turbo compromise. A square layout keeps mean piston speed moderate at high rpm, which is why the block tolerates power levels far beyond its original rating. The preset gives you the cycle in full: cylinder pressure against volume, indicated work, effective power after friction, and the gas and inertia forces at the piston pin, rod and crank journal.
